Moreover, the BMV type
machines can be used
to produce mechanical
reinforcements for high-
pressure
hoses
and
medical catheters.
Additional features of the
BMV machines include
infinitely variable electronic
control of the line speed
and the braiding pitch, as
well as automatic central
lubrication. The machines
can be equipped with
a low bobbin detection
device which automatically
stops the machine when a
braiding bobbin is nearly
empty.
The Niehoff Package
System NPS
The
Niehoff
Package
System (NPS) consists of special
spoolers and spools. The NPS was
developed mainly for high-speed
production of automotive wires but
is also being applied for other kind of
wire products.
The spoolers use a patented wire-
laying technology to spool the wires
conically onto specially designed
multiway spools made of ABS. The
spools offer a secure hold of the
product both when full or part-empty
and can be fully dismantled.
At present the NPS spool range
includes eight different models
and sizes.
Among the NPS spoolers, the
new SV410D type double spooler
takes full account of recent trends
in the automotive wire manufac-
turing
industry
towards
the
production and handling of wires
with steadily decreasing diameters
at steadily increasing production
speeds.
