If you’re confused with all the Assassin’s Creed

games that are about, we’ll make things easier

for you.

Rogue

is a sequel to

ACIV: Black Flag

,

but also has ties to

ACIII

, as well as the new

release

Unity

. Erm, simple! Exclusive to PS3 and

360,

Rogue

takes place in North America during

the Seven Years’ War of the 18th century. You’re

a disillusioned assassin-turned-Templar named

Shay Patrick Cormac, determined to exact revenge

upon those turncoat assassins. If you enjoyed the

naval aspect of

Black Flag

then you’ll love

Rogue

,

with ships making a return boasting even more

weaponry aboard. Meanwhile, landlubbers can

make do with a natty new air rifle. Either way,

with your vast resources courtesy of the Order,

there are a whole lot of assassins out there

sleeping with one eye open.

ASSASSIN’S CREED: ROGUE

ASSASSIN’S CREED IV: BLACK FLAG, THIEF

You say you want a revolution? Well, you’ve

come to the right place! The historical travels

granted by the Animus bring us to Paris in 1789,

pre-French Revolution. From Bastille-storming

to witnessing royal execution, you inhabit the

body of young Arno Dorian, adopted out after

his father’s death to a family with quite a secret.

When his adoptive father is also murdered,

Arno enters the Brotherhood of Assassins to

seek redemption, revenge and freedom for the

people of France. He’s not one to do things half-

heartedly... As well as a shiny new game engine,

improved gameplay mechanics and character

customisation, multiplayer also enters the AC

fray. Just pop into an in-game pub and see if any

online mates are up for a quick pint and a round

of assassination!

Halo, halo. Halo, halo. Halo, halo, halo – HALO!

Yes, it’s worth shouting, as the series that

made Xbox the success that it is today – and

introduced gaming masses to stunning FPS

action – has been given the remastered,

repackaged and relaunched 60fps 1080p

treatment. Seriously, Master Chief’s never

looked smoother or shinier! It’s the first time

that his entire story’s been on one console, too.

Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo

3

and

Halo 4

are all squeezed in, along with all

their extras. That’s some 45 campaign missions

and over 100 multiplayer maps – enough to

keep even the itchiest trigger finger satiated. If

that’s not enough, the

Halo: Nightfall

movie is

added, plus access to the forthcoming

Halo 5:

Guardians

multiplayer beta. Hail to the Chief!

DESTINY, WOLFENSTEIN: THE NEW ORDER
