Ship Transfer

Gasoline is imported from a ship in packages of up to 2,000 m

, although the ship could be

carrying more of different products in different compartments. The amount to be imported

is transmitted to the site management and the client’s surveyor. The management team

check the receiving tank to confirm level in the tank and ullage available. The import

operation is carried out under operational procedures with radio contact between the ship

and the terminal operator. Any problems with the operation are advised and the operation

is stopped.
