In the event a reduction is necessary, employment will be reduced to meet the needs of
the business. The order of the layoff is determined by management based on the skills,
knowledge and abilities that are necessary to perform ongoing or future work. When
management determines that one or more employees possess substantially equal skills,
knowledge, and abilities, the order of the layoff will be determined by length of service.
