The 2014 US National Delegate Conference and Friendship Week

take place on board the Norwegian Gem cruise line the 4 - 11 October,

Cyprus Section will host the XXI IPA World Congress in Limassol Cyprus

Steve Connor, Immediate Past President of Section UK has been
mentioned in a recent article circulated to IPA Sections.
The article, featured in the International Secretary General’s newsletter,
was prepared by Werner Busch, 2nd International Vice President, on the
subject of the External Relations Commission (ERC).

Archivists at IAC
Two members of Section UK have taken the first steps toward
creating an archive at the International Admin Centre in Nottingham.
Phillip and Vivienne Powell visited the IAC on 3 April 2013 to make an
initial assessment of archiving requirements. Speaking to Police World,
Assistant International
Secretary General Stephen
Crockard said,
“I am
delighted Phillip and
Vivienne are able to give
their time and expertise to
the archive project; it is most
important that we ensure
the safeguarding of IPA
history.”

Chairs Commission
Meeting
Stephen Crockard, Assistant International Secretary General (AISG) and
member from Region Northern Ireland, has chaired a meeting of an
International Cultural Commission (ICC) which took place in Ettal, in
Southern Bavaria, Germany.
Items discussed covered the ICC’s final report and legacy tasks,
