General Funds Revenues
Of the $36.2 Million General Fund budget,
the City Council has discretion over how to
spend $25.8 Million. The remaining General
Fund revenues support a specific activity
(such as recreation services) and can only
be used to provide that service. Three-
quarters of the discretionary funds pay for
public safety services, including Police and
Fire.
