Discovering the U.K.

Suburban Areas on the Outskirts of London

Egham

Egham is located in Surrey and has a very historic past,

dating back to before c. 670 AD. These days it is on the

railway line from London Waterloo to Reading and

Weybridge, and the travel time to London Waterloo is 50

minutes on average.

Virginia Water

Virginia Water is located on the southern edge of

Windsor Great Park in north west Surrey, and many of

the homes there are on the Wentworth Estate. It is the

most expensive town in the UK outside of London, and

home to families and individuals alike. There are direct

trains to London Waterloo averaging 50 minutes.

Windsor

Windsor is a historic town immediately south of the

Thames river in Berkshire, home to the Windsor Castle.

Neighbouring Eton, Maidenhead and Bray and the

smaller villages of the Royal Borough are similar in its

historic regal character. On average, Windsor is 35

minutes to London Paddington by train, with one change

at Slough.
