Commence construction of the South

Surrey Operations Facility located in

the Grandview Heights community;

Implement a suitable framework for

Key Performance Indicators;

Establish a second capital construction

crew that will help reduce the impact

of costs for capital projects;



Streamline our water tie-in operations

utilizing hydro excavation wherever

practical and cost effective; and



Implement an in-house Crack Sealing

Operation to cost effectively increase

the life of our road surfaces.

ENVIRONMENTAL



Secure a location within the Newton

or City Centre area to host a regional

Residential Drop-off Eco-centre

Facility;



Complete the purchase of the 143 acre

Tree Seed Centre in Campbell Heights,

for park purposes;



Participate in ongoing environmental

stewardship by overseeing and

managing the P-15 Habitat

Replacement process;



Expand EV fleet through attrition and

where it makes economic sense to do

so;



Reduce illegal dumping and

associated costs by 50% over the next

3 years (Year 2 of 3). Stage 2:

Implement multifaceted public

education campaign; Explore pilot

“small RDO” facility in South Surrey;



Reduce Fleet emissions by 20% by the

year 2020;



Establish CNG fuelling for R&D North

at FortisBC facility (168 Street at Fraser

Highway); and



Establish Stokes Pit Materials

SOCIO-CULTURAL



Implement, with the assistance of

Transportation Planning, the Utilities

Division, and the Design &

Construction Division, an overall

strategic three-year plan for the

delivery of the annual Capital Works

the continued operation of the Winter

Shelter in the City Centre;
