syrup, and 414 gallons of water. Filter. Color
yellow.

3 drachms of oil of juniper; dissolve in 514 gallons of
alcohol, 95 per cent; add ^S/q gallons of water and
gallon of white plain syrup.
184. Gin, English.
3 drachms of oil of juniper.
I drachm of oil of turpentine.
Dissolve in 5^ gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent, add.
4% gallons of water.

Dissolve in 51/4 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent, add 1/0
gallon of white plain syrup, and 414 gallons of water.
Filter.

10 gallons of boiling water.
10 ounces of cream of tartar.

10 lemons cut in slices and boiled together; let them
