or material combinations which are difficult

to weld. The Teach Mode (patent pending),

a technology based on a self-teaching

system, generates optimal pulse shapes,

even in difficult welding processes.

The StarPulse lasers have a modular

and compact construction, a removable

operating user panel, and they can easily

be integrated into automation solutions.

The lasers also use a sweet spot resonator,

ensuring results, independent of the

parameters selected, and with constant

high beam quality, starting from the first

pulse (no first pulse effect).

In combination with the Micro Weld™

option and direct beam delivery, weld

spot diameters smaller than 0.1mm can

be achieved, even if scan optics with

larger focal lengths are used. A long focal

length leads to a large working field, and

therefore allows processing of several

workpieces on one fixture with fast galvo

deflection heads.

GH Group, Spain, is a supplier of induction

heating equipment and installations. The

Group is dedicated to providing superior

induction heating equipment and solutions

to the world market, with more than 4,000

customers in 50 countries.

For the tube and pipe sector, GH provides

complete solutions in induction welding,

annealing and seam annealing, hardening

and tempering, tube end stress relief,

heating before forming, tube coating, and

other customer processes.

The Group offers an entire range of

modern, high frequency power supplies

and equipment for induction heating

applications, from MF IGBT inverters to HF

Mosfet inverters.

In the area of tube induction welding, which

often requires frequencies up to 500kHz,

the natural, most reliable and efficient

component is the Mosfet transistor. This

technology is provided by GH Group’s

latest developments in variable frequency

and automatic load adjustment.

The company has developed the

Transithermic

®

generator range of

solid-state welders, which can weld

any tube specifications, allowing for

any tube diameter, thickness and

material. These machines provide

flexibility and economy through

reductions in downtime and scrap

material.
