Tube Düsseldorf.
voestalpine Krems produces cold-rolled
tubes and sections. Profiling systems
are employed at the Krems site to
process varied grades of strip steel into
profiled tubes and sections with many
different cross-sections.
voestalpine Rotec is a group of com-
panies specialised in the production,
further processing and sale of precision
steel tube products. Its focus is on the
automotive industry, as well as on the
mechanical engineering and hydraulic/
pneumatic segments. voestalpine
Rotec supports customers with the
development of product and production
solutions, and logistic concepts.
voestalpine Tubulars produces seam-
less steel pipes. These are used as
mechanical tubes, boiler and heat
exchanger tubes, line pipe and for
the drilling and completion of both
conventional and unconventional oil and
gas wells, available in API or proprietary
grades, with API or premium thread
connections – VAGT®, VAsuperior ® and
VAroughneck®.

Special
stainless steels
PJSC Dneprospetsstal (DSS) is a
manufacturer of special stainless
steels in the CIS market. The company
develops, manufactures and sells metal
products of stainless, tool, high-speed
(including those produced by the PM
method), bearing, structural, alloyed
and carbon steel grades.
The technologies applied at DSS
enable the company to produce high-
quality materials used in a variety of
industries, including engineering,
shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace,
power generation, oil and gas, and
heavy equipment manufacturing. Its

(USA), EN (EU), DIN (Germany), BS
(Great Britain), AFNOR (France) and
JIS (Japan). The company has also
developed its own technical delivery
terms, which are harmonised with
the above-mentioned standards for
manufacturing stainless, bearing, tool
and structural steels.
Dneprospetsstal manufactures more
than 800 steel grades of 1,200 section
sizes. The company is constantly
developing its industrial facilities
and new technologies, and installing
advanced equipment.

PE-X and

multi-layer
pipes
Hewing GmbH manufactures special
layer pipe with an inner layer of PE-Xc
and an outer stainless steel layer.
PE-X pipes and aluminium multi-
layer pipes developed by Hewing are
mainly applied for surface temperature
regulation, radiator connection and tap
water installation. Hewing products fulfil
requirements for these application fields
and allow fast and proper installation.
In the test engineering department they
are tested for all kinds of application
fields, simulating long-term installation
situations.
