This class for advanced level English students involves lectures
and discussions on United States literary, political, social and
cultural history. Practice your conversation skills as we explore
history through excerpts of American fiction, non-fiction, poetry
and music. Study materials included in fee.
Katherine Dehais received a BA from Columbia University and
her Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages training at
Westchester Community College.

For speakers at the high intermediate level and above, this informal
class will be run exclusively in Spanish. Bring your coffee (or
lunch) and practice speaking on topics ranging from current
events to arts and leisure activities.

Esther Tesan attended ESSAM International Business School
in Zaragoza, Spain and received a BA from the University of
Humberside, School of International Marketing and Languages
in the UK. She moved to the US from Spain in 2006, and has
taught Spanish in schools in Virginia Beach and White Plains.
