Original Cake Recipe
Tripled
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3 square baking chocolate
1 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup boiling water
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
Now Lamar will need to be sure he has enough frosting to cover the cake. He probably won’t
need exactly 3 times as much, but the cake will be bigger, so he’s going to needmore frosting. He
decides to double the frosting recipe. Can you find the amounts he’ll need?
