The good news is—while things that need to go in the oven are baking, Lamar and George can
be doing other tasks!
Lamar decides it makes sense to grill the hamburgers last, so they’ll be as hot as possible. He
decides to bake the cake first, so that it will have time to cool before he frosts it.
So if Lamar bakes the cake first, then puts the macaroni and cheese into the oven as soon as the
cake comes out, what time will the macaroni and cheese be ready to come out of the oven?
While the cake and the macaroni are baking, will Lamar and George have time
to do the other things they need to do?
