amar has a small grill on his deck where he is going to cook the hamburgers. However, the
grill will only hold 4 burgers at a time. If Lamar wants to make enough burgers for each per-
son to have 2, he’ll need 12 burgers because he’s expecting 6 people. This means he’ll need
to cook a batch at a time.
How many batches will he need?
12 ÷ 4 = 3
He’ll need to make 3 batches.
