What is the minimum term for staying in a serviced apartment?
Themajorityoftheservicedapartmentsrequireaminimumstayof1monthduetolicense
requirement.Itbecomesmore flexiblewhenextending thestay,whichcanbebyday,byweekor
by month. However, some serviced apartments may have an extra charge for extension less than 1
month; hence it is important to check with the serviced apartment before confirming any extension.
What is included in the rates?
In general, the rates include management fee, government rates, utility charge, local calls,
internet service, and housekeeping and linen change service. However, some serviced apartments
exclude electricity charge, internet service from the rates.
Are the rates negotiable?
Notforshortstaybutsomediscountmaybeofferedbytheservicedapartmentfora longerterm.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, guests have to pay a refundable deposit equivalent to 1-2 month’s rental depending on the
lengthofstay.Someservicedapartmentsrequestformoredepositifitisapersonal lease.The
security deposit and advance rental payment are required to be settled before check in.
