In mixing-glass: a dash of An
gostura Bitters, a teaspoon of
Sugar syrup, one-half glass of
Whiskey; stir well and serve
with Maraschino Cherry.
Any Whiskey may be used.
WHITE
In mixing-glass: a teaspoon of
white Curasao, a dash of Or
ange Bitters, four-fifths Gin;
stir well and serve.
WHITE LADY
In shaker: one-fourth each of
Lemon juice & white Curagao,
half Gin ; shake well and serve.
WHITE ROSE
In shaker: half white of Egg,
thejuice ofone-quarterLemon,
one-halfteaspoon ofSugar,one
glass of Gin;shake well,strain
into small wineglass and serve.
WHITE SHADOW
In shaker: one-third each of
fresh Cream, Anis "Pernod
flls", and Rye Whiskey, very
little grated Nutmeg ; shake
well and serve.
WHIZ-BANG
In mixing-glass: a dash of Anis
"Pernod fils ", a dash of Gre
nadine, one glass of Scotch
Whisky; stir well and serve.
WINTER SPORT ^
In shaker: a teaspoon offresh
Cream, one-third Gin, two-
thirds Anis "Pernod fils";
shake well and serve.
YALE
In shaker: a dash of Angostura
Bitters, one glass of old Tom
Gin; shake well, strain into
double cocktail glass, add
squirtofSchweppessoda water
or syphon and serve.
YASHMAK
In mixing-glass:a dash ofAngos
tura Bitters, one-third each of
French Vermouth, sweetened
Anis "Pernod fils" and Rye
Whiskey ; stir well and serve.
ZAZA
In mixing-glass: a dash of An
gostura Bitters, half Dubonnet,
half Gin ; stir well and serve.
ZAZARAC
In tumbler: dissolve a small
lump of Sugar in little water,
a dash each of Angostura and
Orange Bitters, a teaspoon of
Anis "Pernod fils", a piece of
Ice,one glass ofBourbon Whis
key;add Lemon peel
& squirt of Schwep
pes soda or syphon,
stir well and serve.
