Business Travel

Associates traveling on business should listen to the local news media for weather forecasts, reports on road

conditions, and announcements of area closings as a guide for modifying travel plans.

BUILDING PROCEDURES AND OFFICE SAFETY

ICMA‑RC seeks to provide a safe and secure office environment for its associates. It is important that you take

an active role in maintaining safe surroundings for yourself and your coworkers.

Each ICMA‑RC location may have specific security procedures or policies unique to that facility. You should

familiarize yourself with your particular building procedures as well as the disaster contingency plan that may

be in effect in your area.

Associates at headquarters should address questions about security or the disaster contingency plan to

Corporate Support Services.

Security Cards at Corporate Headquarters

ICMA‑RC ASSOCIATES

Building access cards are issued to full- and part-time ICMA‑RC associates who are located at ICMA‑RC’s

corporate headquarters. At corporate headquarters, you should prominently display your security badge at all

times. Associates who forget their badge must obtain a photo ID badge from the visitor’s kiosk in the building

lobby, then proceed to the Corporate Support Services area on the first floor to obtain a temporary access card

for entry to ICMA‑RC office suite areas.

Note:

Associates attempting to gain access to the office suite without using their access card may be stopped or escorted to their

department if a coworker does not know or recognize them. As a safety precaution, ICMA‑RC asks that all associates entering the office

suite use their own access cards.

TEMPORARY WORKERS, CONSULTANTS AND CONTRACTORS

Corporate Support Services issues access cards to temporary workers, as well as to consultants and contractors,

upon receipt of a written request from Human Resources. The request must include the following information:
