CHAPTER 5
COMPENSATION PROGRAM
ICMA‑RC believes that every associate can make a difference. ICMA‑RC’s philosophy is that associate
contributions should be rewarded through both base and incentive pay. Base salary recognizes your performance
in a specific job and recognizes skills and experience. Incentive pay recognizes your contribution to the
corporation’s overall results in a given year. Your base salary may change to keep pay competitive; incentive pay
changes from year to year in recognition of team results as well as the individual contributions to those results.
A booklet is available to all associates explaining the corporation’s compensation philosophy, process, and
components of the compensation plan. That booklet is available at
my.icmarc.org, and some of the highlights of
the plan are shown below.
Incentive/Bonus Programs
Incentive plans at ICMA‑RC include Team RC and the President’s High Achievement Award.
TEAM RC
Team RC is a corporate-wide annual incentive program that emphasizes teamwork and that is tied directly to
ICMA‑RC’s performance. Team RC is subject to the review and approval of the ICMA‑RC Board of Directors
and is not guaranteed.
