SHERRY
COBBLER.
Put
four
tablespoonfuls
of
sherry
into
a
tumbler
with
half
a
tablespoonful
of
sugar;
two
thin
slices
of
orange
and
one
of
lemon.
Nearly
fill
up
the
glass
with
pounded
ice.
Fit
your
shaker
firmly
over
the
glass,
and
shake
well.
Add
any
of
the
small
fruits
of
the
season
for
a
garnish.
Serve
with
two
straws.
If
small
fruits
are
not
in
season
use
candied
cherries.
