Peach Drink.
Take a tin of preserved peaches, mash them
well up with the syrup, and add two quarts of
boiling water ,*
let it stand till cold, then
strain ; add sugar to taste, and it is ready to
serve.
Quince Drink.
Proceed exactly as directed for Apple Drink.
Raspberry Drinki
(Seealso fage 121.)
Rub a quart of ripe raspberries through a
sieve into a pan, and add one quart of cold
water; let it stand for a few hours, theti
strain, and it is ready for use. Sweeten to
taste.
Note.—Almost any other fresh fruit may be
treated the samfe way With many of the
plum class the juice of a lemon is a great im
provement, but will require an extra quantity
of icing sugar.
Raspberry Squash.
Put into a large soda tumbler one table-
spoonful of raspberry syrup, one tablespoonful
of lemon squash, a lump of ice ; fill up to three
parts with soda water; ornament with a slice
of lemon and a few red and white raspberries.
Serve with a straw.
