Palace Favourite.

Put into a large glass onewineglass of sherry,

one liqueur-glass of Chartreuse, two teaspoonfuls

of raspberry syrup. Fill up with shaved ice,

shake well, dash with cherry brandy; decorate

with fruits, including three brandied cherries.

Insert two straws and serve.

Bronze Appetizer.

Use large glass; half fill with shaved ice, add

thirty drops of gum syrup, ten drops of Boker's

bitters, half a wineglass of English gin, half a

wineglass of Italian vermouth, half a wineglass

of French vermouth, one liqueur - glass of

absinthe. Shake well, strain, put a small piece

of lemon-peel on top and serve.

Shaftesbury Flip.

Use large glass; fill three parts with shaved

.ice, add one teaspoonful of icing sugar, one egg,

one wineglass of sherry, half a wineglass of

raspberry syrup, one liqueur-glass of curagoa.

Shake well, strain, dust with cinnamon and

serve.
