Coffee Cocktail.
The color of this drink is responsible
for its name, but it is far more nutri
tious than its better known namesake,
the "cafe noir." Into a mixing glass
containing three or four lumps of ice
put
one teaspoonful bar sugar
one fresh egg
one glass of port wine
one pony glass of brandy;
shake well and strain into a punch
glass with a little grated nutmeg on
top.
