Brandy Cocktail.
This is made in the same manner as
a Plain Gin Cocktail (see No. 40) ex
cept that a measure of good cognac
brandy is used instead of gin. Angos
tura bitters may be used in place of
the Peychaud if desired.

Bronx Cocktail.
Into a small mixing glass put
one-third measure French ver
mouth
one-third measure Italian ver
mouth
one-third measure dry gin;
squeeze the juice of one-eighth of an
orange into this, and put all into the
shaker with plenty of cracked ice.
Shake well and strain into the cocktail
glass.
