Building alterations after 1890.
When the Technical University was moved from the group of
buddings in Studiestræde which had been in use since 1829, the
buddings were taken over and altered by the University. This new
equipment is shown in a sketch.

Chemical Laboratory is established in 1859. In use until 1890
In 1859 a new laboratory was attached to the Chemical Laboratory
of the University. It was in Ny Vestergade, and is shown here in
pictures and drawings.

‘The Chemical Laboratory was moved to a new building in 1892
to 1963.
In 1892 the Laboratory was moved to a larger building at 5 Øster
Voldgade (likewise shown in pictures and by a drawing). From
this building it was moved in 1963, this time to the H. C. Oersted
Institute.

In 1890 the Laboratory for Inorganic Chemistry was moved to
Sølvtorvet.
In 1890 everything was moved from Set. Pederstræde to the new
building with three wings housing the Technical University in
