MIXED DRINKS.

WHISKY, LEMON AND SUGAR.

Two or three dashes lemon, one small bar-

spoonful sugar in bar-glass, spoon in glass. Serve

same as plain whisky.

JOHN COLLINS.

Put in mixing-glass one-half lemon with peel

on, one spoonful sugar, muddle well, fill glass two-

thirds full of shaved ice, one jigger Old Tom gin,

shake well, strain in thin lemonade-glass, fill with

Club soda, stir.

WHISKY FIZZ.

Put in mixing-glass one bar-spoonful sugar,

juice one-quarter lemon, fill two-thirds full-of ice,

one jigger whisky; shake well,strain in star cham

pagne-glass, fill with syphon seltzer.

PLAIN WHISKY.

To serve plain whisky, first fill water-glass

two-thirds full of ice-water; place on the bar a thin

dry bar-glass and bottle.
