1 part Jamaica rum
1 teaspoon molasses
1 dash of Angostura bitters
Shake well, and serve in glasses each contain–
ing a twist of lemon and of orange peel.
THE DEVIL'S TONGUE
Slice thin some smoked tongue;
spread with English mustard, red
pepper and olive oil. Pack the
slices together, and let them stand
in the ice-box for several hours.
Then, pull apart and fry in
butter. Serve a piece on thin
slices ·of brown bread.
