• GA’s website re-designed and launched in June 2008. It is ranked the 8th by popularity
among environmental organizations (according to Alexa Top Sites statistics). The site updated regularly,
electronic environmental information resources, UNEP communications and outreach materials and
programme information accessible and promoted. Recent publications: OECD DAC Report "Natural
Resources and Pro-Poor Growth"
2009
• GA website further updated to include all new publications in various formats, including html, PDF and
interactive e-book. A new edition of Earthwire focusing on marine-related issues in the media
published. A special section on the web site holding all the information on our 20th anniversary created.
UNEP info and press releases promoted. A library of photographs was set up (to be published in 2010).
