Todd Cherner

( tcherner@coastal.edu

) is an assistant professor of

education. As part of the Spadoni College of Education’s faculty, Todd

teaches literacy courses and English teaching methods course to

pre-service middle and high school teachers. Todd’s personal mission

for his work is to help support marginalized populations by preparing

highly qualified teachers to work in schools that traditionally

serve these populations. Additionally, Todd is very interested in

using technology to support students’ digital literacy skills.
