birth of her daughter’s daughter Olivia.
Jane Watson
chaired the World Junior Girls
Championship at her golf club. Last June, she and

circumnavigated Newfoundland with

to make their communities a little better. Jackie keeps
very busy ‒ she volunteers at a local elementary school,
delivers Meals on Wheels, leads a cycling group at a local
seniors’ centre and sings in her church choir. It was so
good to hear from
Glyn Varcoe Hethey
, who reports that
she sings in an
a cappella
choir. When floods hit High River
three years ago, Glyn and her husband were not affected,
so they were able to help those in need. Barb sits on the
very active board of Transition House, which provides
short-term housing for men recovering from addiction.
Catherine (Cathy) Fauquier
is on the board of Concerts
in Care, which provides musical entertainment for seniors
in residential care.
Luba Frastacky
has a great deal of fun
volunteering at the Catherine Steele Archives and is part of
the core group arranging the indoor rowing events for next
September’s Invictus Games.
Only a small number of our class reported in, hopefully
because the others were too busy travelling, volunteering
or just having too much fun. One final note: don’t forget our
Class Fund, please!
