approximately a one per cent solution. The
spray-remover is kept in an earthenware
crock. Vegetables used are first washed in
the ordinary manner, then placed for five
minutes in the spray-remover, removed and
rinsed in water again. The spray-remover
solution can be used by the average family
of five for about a week. Should a little of
the hydrochloric acid remain on the vege
tables it will do no harm. In this weak solu
tion it is practically the same as is normally
present in the stomach.
