The German club is an entity through

which students and faculty who are interest­

ed in the culture, history, and language of the

German people can satisfy their curiosities.

In the past, the German club has participat­

ed in ski trips tomammoth, and celebrations

such asGartenfest, Weihnactfest, and Okto-

berfest. Otheradventures include the enjoy­

ment ofGerman concerts, cuisine,and cine­

ma. Anyone withan interest in learning and

enjoying more of the German way of life is

encouraged to jin.

The purpose of the Italian Club is to intru-

duce USD tothe Italian culture. Afew of its

activities include: trying different restau­

rants, seeing Italian films, and having pot

lucks. The club is also well known on campus

for its Italian sandwiches at the T.G.'s.
