Punch—Century Club.
1 pint Santa Cruz Rum.
1 pint Jamaica Rum.
5 pints of water.
Add lemon juice and sugar to taste.
Punch—Cider. For a Small Party.
1/2 pint Sherry.
1 glass Brandy.
1 bottle Cider.
14 pound sugar.
Juice of 1 lemon.
Peel half the lemon very thin and pour
the Sherry over it. Add sugar, juice of the
lemon, the cider., and a little grated nutmeg.'
Mi.x well, and pack in ice. When cold, add
the Brandy and a few pieces of cumuher
rind.
Punch—Gothic, (use a punch bowl)
4 bottles still Catawba Wine.
1 bottle Claret.
1 bottle Champagne.
3 oranges.
10 tablespoons sugar.
Dissolve sugar in the Catawba and Claret
Wines. Add juice of the oranges. When
mixed, put in ice for an hour or more, then
add the Champagne.
Punch—Imperial. (1 quart of punch)
1 bottle Claret.
1 bottle Soda Water.
4 tablespoons powdered sugar, dissolved
in a little of the Soda Water.
1/^ teaspoon grated nutmeg.
1 liquor glass Maraschino.
Yl pound ice.
3 or four slices of cucumber rind.
Put ingredients in a pitcher, and mix well.
