dash of peppermint cordial,

Mix well, and serve.

mixing-glass,
half a spoonful of sugar,
a little water, enough to dissolve the sugar,

drink of brandy.

Stir this very well; strain into a cocktail glass; grate a little
nutmeg on top.
(Any other toddy may be prepared the same way.)

Mix this; add a bottle of imported ginger ale; stir thorough!y,
