Jalisco is the region of mariachi singing,
tequila and charreada (Mexican rodeo), in
other words, it is the soul of Mexico. It would
be unthinkable to come back from holiday
here without having enjoyed its Pacific
beaches, or without having a ranchera song
on your lips, a tequila in your belly and a
charros rodeo in your memory.

Jalisco ist die mexikanische Hauptstadt der
Mariachis, des Tequilas und der Charrería, der
traditionellen, Rodeo-ähnlichen Reiterspiele. Mit
anderen Worten, in Jalisco findet man die Seele
Mexikos. Zum Pflichtprogramm bei einem Urlaub
in diesem Bundesstaat gehören die vom Pazifik
umspülten Strände ebenso wie der Genuss eines
Tequilas oder der Besuch eines Charrería-Rodeos.
Und man sollte auch nicht heimfahren ohne we-
nigstens einmal ein traditionelles Ranchera-Lied
gesungen zu haben.

prácticamente inviable volver de unas vaca-
ciones en este estado sin haber disfrutado de
sus playas bañadas por el Pacífico, también
lo es hacerlo sin una ranchera en los labios,
un tequila en el cuerpo o un espectáculo de
charros en la memoria
