Diamond dies
Tien Chen was established in 1990, dedicated to research,
development and manufacture of a variety of diamond die
products.
Tien Chen specialises in diamond dies for drawing any type of
wires. Professional sintering techniques firmly bind the diamond
ore, giving the dies the highest degree of protection against wear
and collision.
Tien Chen diamond dies are proven for drawing hard metallic
wires, such as steel and stainless steel. Tien Chen can fulfil
customers’ varied requirements for die quality.
Natural diamond dies and mono dies are the best choice for
drawing fine wires, golden wires, alloy wires and wires which need
a delicate and bright surface.
Synthetic diamond dies are used for tube and wires; their durability
and hardness offer the best choice for the special requests of
die hold.
TC dies are sintered with high pressure and low temperature to
effectively strengthen the surface of the die blanks with metal
powder, above 52 HRC, to form a protective layer to enhance the
durability.
TC can provide shaped dies, such as hexagonal, square, and
round dies. The production range for round dies is from 0.03mm
to 34mm diameter.

Each die is made entirely at the company’s plant in Orem, Utah.
Dies sized from 0.004" to 0.385" diameter are available from standard
PCD blank sizes (D6 to D30).

new and reconditioned dies are ground and finished to ensure

Koner Dies specialises in grinding and reconditioning the
nibs of the new Koner pressure dies, for which only the
worn nib inside the die casing needs to be replaced. The
