The focus on the Sikora stand will be
the company’s measuring and control
systems. With its functional design
and extraordinary capabilities, such as
the 8-point-eccentricity and ovality
measurement, the patent pending
cloud diagram and several improve-
ments regarding precision and long
lifecycle, the new Centerview 8000 is a
precision measuring device.
Also expected to generate a great deal
of interest is the further developed
model generation X-ray 8000 NXT. The
new X-ray 8000 NXT continues the
tradition of the model series, which
was produced in 1993 for the first time.
The X-ray measuring device, which
is used in the high-voltage cable
production, provides permanent online
quality control and high measuring
accuracy for product diameters of up
to 220mm.
Sikora’s display and control devices,
Ecocontrol 1000 and 2000 have proved
successful in the market. In the course
of a further new development Sikora is
now presenting the Ecocontrol 600 as
economic alternative to the successful
models.

New products from Tecnovo are
designed to meet the demand for
lubricants free of chemical substances
and additives that are difficult to
dispose of, yet still offer the greater
lubricating capacity needed for faster
drawing speeds and provide a final
covering of the wire that is easy to
remove and not harmful to equipment
or in subsequent treatments. These
demands have given rise to a new
generation of lubricants, non toxic and/
or harmful to people or to the
environment.
Toxic and harmful products are
eliminated from Tecnovo’s range,
providing:
Adequate lubrication of wire over a •
wider temperature range to cover
temperature differences between
first and last draft
Greater temperature stability •
Strong adhesion of the lubricating •
film to the drawn wire
Resistance to compression •
Strong polarity towards the drawn •
wire
Easy removal of the lubricating film •
from the surface of the wire
Tecnovo has also developed a line of
sodium soap products, Tecnolubre®
FM/750 and Tecnolubre® FM/807BN,
that are guaranteed to not contain
nitrites, chlorinated and sulphurised
compounds, soaps of heavy metals
(barium, chrome and lead).
The production process uses only
inorganic, non-toxic and non-harmful
salts to obtain perfect reticulation of
the fibre of the soap. It has also been
possible to obtain more constant and
stable behaviour at high temperatures
than is obtained with soaps containing
dangerous products.
