New technology is at the forefront of
Belgian company FIB’s claims of
saving 27 per cent of energy bills wth
the Imflex open fire furnace.
The technology is able to largely cut
energy used in the austenitising or
annealing processes.
The key features of the furnace
include:
• Reduced energy consumption with
lmflex preheating technology
• Low operating cost (no moving
parts or costly burners)
• Fixed geometry of the zones
allowing easier upgrading of
production
• Embedded wiring in the design to
make access easier and cleaner
• Two possible sizes of preheating to
match with super-high efficiencies
or space constraints
An optional feature is that it can be
equipped with an intelligent dosing
mixer to compensate the fluctuation of
main gas composition by keeping the
atmosphere automatically constant.
