Time spent on rest breaks will be compensated as working time, and you are not

required to clock out and in on your time cards. However, you are expected to be

punctual in starting and ending your breaks; failure will result in attendance points.

Rest breaks may be taken in the designated smoking/break areas or cafeteria. You are

not permitted to leave Company premises during this period. Food or beverages are

prohibited in the work area at all times, including during rest breaks. Please do not

interfere with other employees who are continuing to work.

OVERTIME POLICY

Due to the cyclical nature of the business and our customers’ needs, overtime hours

may be necessary. From time to time, you may be asked to work longer than your

normal scheduled shift. Your supervisor will give you as much advance notice as

possible when extra work is required. Supervisors/Managers will try to attempt to fill

overtime needs with volunteers. However, the Company reserves the right to require

any employee to work overtime in order to meet customer requirements.

In accordance with all state and federal regulations, all non-exempt and hourly

employees will be paid overtime for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek at a

rate of 1.5x the base rate. Overtime hours will be considered as apart of the shift

schedule whether it be voluntary or mandated. Normal attendance policy guidelines will

apply to missed time.

TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT

It is important that all business expenses of employees reimbursed by YFAI meet the

“necessary and reasonable” test which reflects sound business policy as well as

compliance with the Internal Revenue Service and any other taxing authorities.

Expenses for approved travel will be paid or reimbursed when properly documented by

the employee and approved by the departmental manager. Reimbursable expenses are

those expenses of a reasonable nature and reasonable cost level which you incur for

authorized travel.
