The difference in the retention time of withanolides indicates the method is
capable of separating the individual withanolides from the other.
The similarity in the PDA spectra of the peaks of withanolides obtained with the sample and
the standard indicate the peak purity.
From the above data it can be concluded that the method is very specific for the estimation
of withanolides and there is no interference from any other compounds present in the
extract.
