South-North Corridor GRIP 2017
Figure 3.18 shows the share of power generation in the total annual gas demand in
the countries of the South-North Corridor, the remaining EU-28 countries and all of
EU-28.
As is illustrated by the previous graph, the share of power generation is expected to
increase in all EU-28 countries. This observation is even more pronounced in the
South-North Corridor countries, as the estimates foresee an overall increase in the
annual demand component for power generation of more than 10% over the next
twenty years.
