with ice, and strain into a cloret glass.

Take 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Shake up well with two small l umps of ice; strain
into a claret glass, and serve with a quarter of a slice

Take 1 dash of Boker's bitters.
2 dashes of Maraschino.
1 pony of Old Tom gin.
1 wine-glass of Vermouth.
2 small lumps of ice.
Shake up thoroughly, and strain i n t o a large cock–
t ail glass. Pu t a quarter o f a s l i ce of l emon i n t h e
glass, and serve. I f t h e guest p r efers it ver y sweet,
add two dashes of gum syrup.
