WATERCRESS DAINTIES
Chop up some fresh watercress
that has been soaked for a time
in iced salt water, and thoroughly
dried with a clean dishtowel. To
a cup of this chopped cress, add
a teaspoon of chopped chive, and
a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
Spread the mixture on thin
squares of bread that have been
spread
with
sweet butter, or
cream cheese.
