Public Art IN SURREY

Water Guardian

by Susan Point

The 2016 Public Art Street Banners

designed by Susan Point feature the

same smiling frog used in her recently

completed sculpture

Water Guardians

at

Hazelgrove Park in Cloverdale. The frog’s

traditional design symbolizes the cycle of

life, small transformative beginnings, and

the rhythm of the land. Susan Point is a

descendant of the Musqueam people and

is a distinguished local Coast Salish artist.
