Water Guardian
by Susan Point
The 2016 Public Art Street Banners
designed by Susan Point feature the
same smiling frog used in her recently
completed sculpture Water Guardiansat
Hazelgrove Park in Cloverdale. The frog’s
traditional design symbolizes the cycle of
life, small transformative beginnings, and
the rhythm of the land. Susan Point is a
descendant of the Musqueam people and
is a distinguished local Coast Salish artist.

Classical Coffee Concerts
Socialize over coffee, tea, and goodies in the lobby,
followed by a concert in the Studio Theatre at Surrey Arts

Join recording artist Rhayne for her relaxed and fun group
class for adults. Rhayne’s vibrant and friendly teaching style

Getting a laugh can be one of the most exhilarating of
feelings. In this class, Janice Bannister will help you bring
together your life stories with a punchline. Then you’ll get to

Theatre/Art Camp combo
Do you have kids ages 6 to 12? We make it
easy for you to have fun together!
While you’re enjoying the Arts Club Theatre Company’s
production of Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery on
October 22 at 4pm, your kids will be having their own fun at
Paint at the Play art camp—all at the Surrey Arts Centre.
