128. HOT GIN SLING
(Use medium bar-glass)
Take I small teaspoonful of powdered white sugar
I wine-glass of Holland gin
Dissolve the sugar in a little boiling water, add the gin,
fill the glass two-thirds full of boiling water. Grate a
little nutmeg on top and serve.
129. WHISKEY SLING
(Use small bar-glass)
Take i small teaspoonful of powdered white sugar
I wine-glass of water
I wine-glass of Bourbon or rye whiskey
Dissolve the sugar in the water, add the whiskey and
ice, stir thoroughly with a spoon. Grate a little nutmeg
on top, and serve.
130. HOT WHISKEY SLING
