The Echo Wheel of Liverpool,
or the Liverpool Wheel, was built
next to the Echo Arena
in 2010. It is an observation
wheel that provides panoramic
views of Liverpool’s most
famous landmarks with
commentary. The wheel is
60 meters and has 42 capsules,
including a luxury VIP capsule.

The Echo Arena Liverpool was
opened in January 2008, in time
to help Liverpool celebrate its
European Capital of Culture title.
Echo Arena has been the host
of many significant events from
both world music and sport. It has
been the venue for the MOBO
Awards,the MTV Europe Music
Awards,the British Gymnastic
Championships, Davis Cup Tennis
and many others. International
superstars such as Sir Paul
McCartney, Katy Perry, Queen
and Adam Lambert, Leona
Lewis and Beoynce have also
performed on the main stage,
and also the Disney On Ice show
has visited the Arena.
