hver Tid hviler over denne Bydel — forstærket af

is the whole of this picturesque arrangement of
buildings which inakes Slotsholmen one of the
most beauliful and most characteristic parts of
Copenhagen. Of all the historie buildings here
Bor-

(the Bourse) stands highest both as regards sty-
le and detail. W ith its sandstone ornamenta tion, its
long roof with the numerous attics and the fan-
tastic spire of entwined dragon tails, this the most
beautiful renaissance building in Copenhagen is
presented to advantage, not least by reason of its
situation out towards the »Bors« canal where
numerous small craft with tall slender masts and
vari-colour'ed sails are always moored, discharging
and loading at this quay Street.
Connected w ith the north wing — the royal
wing — of Christiansborg Castle, lies
