IFP’s production range of lead
patented semi-finish products includes
phosphatised or galvanised wire
rod in steel qualities of C 0.20 up to
0.98%, in diameters from 5.5mm up to
15mm with zinc coating up to
400gr/m2 and phosphatised or gal-
vanised steel wire in steel qualities of
C 0.20 up to 0.98%, in diameters from
1.7mm up to 6mm with zinc coating up
to 400 gr/m2. Packing of coils can be
standard or as per customer
requirements.

For the solid welding wire industry
Lämneå Bruk supplies complete lines
including pay offs, cleaning equipment,
drawing machines, copper coating and
take ups. Strip rewind lines, strip pay
offs, forming-filling-closing machines,

Laser drilling is still the most impor-
tant production process for the
manufacturing of diamond drawing
dies. This process influences all
production steps. Drawing dies
processed on a high precision laser
system from Leyer & Kiwus GmbH can
be drilled with an accurate drawing
profile, with entrance, approach,
reduction, bearing, back-relief and exit.
Also, using special laser settings and
drilling strategies can adjust the
surface-quality of the drilled diamond.
The result is a semi-finished diamond
die, which needs almost no additional
ultrasonic shaping process: the die is
ready for the wire-polishing and
calibration process.
This new laser technique enables a
fast production, saving processing
time, labour and consumption costs.
