CAPTAIN APPLEJACK

2 parts applejack

part Italian Vennouth

Dash of Angostura bitters

Twist a piece of lemon peel in each glass.

Cover some giant ripe olives

with a good olive oil, drop in

3 cloves of garlic. Seal the jar

and place in the ice box for 2 or

3 days. Drain off the oil. Serve

the olives in bowl, with a tooth-

pick in each olive.

Slices of chipped dried beef

that have been grilled to a crisp

are delicious with this.
