Fill the tumbler two-thirds full of shaved ice, then

pour in the claret until the g l ass is f u ll , shake well,

a nd ornament with berries in season.

1 slice of lemon.

1 slice of orange.

1 piece of pineapple.

Take a tea-spoonful ofine white sugar.

Sauterne Punch.

(Use large bar-glass.)

and dress with berries in season.

Vanilla Punch.

(Use large bar-glass.)

Take 1 table-spoonful of sugar.

1 wine-glass of brandy.

The juice of quarter of a lemon.

Fill the tumbler with shaved ice, shake well, orna–

ment with one or two slices of lemon, and fiavor w i t h

a few drops of vanilla ex t r act.

This is a d e l i cious drink, and should be i mb i bed

through a glasstube or straw.
